Q: I’M LOOKING FOR A HOUSE. ARE THERE MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM?
We do not sell homes directly. Please contact a realtor. If you stop by our Welcome Center, we’d be happy to give you a tour of our lodge, provide you with a map of our community, and give you a copy of our magazine, which will introduce you to the Sun City Lifestyle! The Welcome Center is located at 12940 Del Webb Blvd, Huntley IL 60142.

Q: CAN YOU RECOMMEND A REALTOR?
We’re sorry, but we cannot provide recommendations. However, there are several paid advertisers in our Lifestyles magazine, which is available online.

Q: I JUST CLOSED ON MY HOUSE, NOW WHAT?
Congratulations and Welcome! It may take a couple of days to get your closing documents from the Title Company. The first step as a new resident is to contact Eileen Bowe, Membership Coordinator, at 847-515-7654 to set up a New Resident Orientation (NRO) which is a one-on-one meeting to introduce you to Sun City and where you receive your ID cards. You can receive a temporary ID card while waiting for your appointment date with Eileen, so be sure to ask when you set up your appointment.

Q: WHAT IS A COMMON INTEREST COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION THAT IS AGE RESTRICTED
Sun City Huntley is an active adult lifestyle community for people 55 and better. At least one person in the household must be 55+. A common interest community means that there are common amenities that are shared by all residents, and assessments are paid to the Association to maintain these common spaces and amenities.

Q: WHERE CAN I GET A COPY OF THE DOCUMENTS?
The Declaration, Bylaws, and Operating Rules and Regulations of the Association are provided to owners by the Title company at closing. Please be sure to read these documents as they spell out the responsibilities of both the Association and the resident. A general understanding of these responsibilities by all residents helps maintain the community as the premiere 55+ community in the Midwest!
