17th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair on October 15 ~ Open to the Public

Attend the 17th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair on Sunday, October 15, 10am-4pm, in Prairie Lodge, and buy original artwork, created by our very own Sun City residents. Choose from pottery, ceramics, sculpture, woodworking, watercolor, jewelry, and photography - just to name some! Model Railroad Club's Summer Sunday Hours ~ Open to the Public

Look for the "Trains are Running" sign at the entrance to the parking lot of Millgrove Woodshop, located at 13400 Sun City Blvd. Trains run every Sunday, 1-4pm, throughout the summer, depending on weather and availability of train crews. Admission is free; children must be accompanied by adults. Sun City Softball Club ~ Open to the Public ~ All Star Game

The Sun City Softball Club All Star game will be played on Friday July 21st at 6:00 PM. Each Evening 16" team will select two (2) players and the Morning league will select one (1) player. Free hotdogs and water will be available from 5-6 PM. Donations received will benefit the Grafton Food Pantry.

The Sun City Softball Club will also be hosting an  "Honor the Veterans" Softball game on the evening of Wednesday August 9th to "Honor" all the softball players that have served our country. Forty four (44) veterans will be divided into two (2) teams. These forty four will represent the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force. Each player will receive a hat and shirt commemorating the event, American Legion Post 673 will present the colors, National Anthem and God Bless America will be sung by Kimberlee Burhans, taps will be played for those softball players who are deceased and each player will be introduced stated the branch and years that they served. This will be a great night for all the Veterans who don't play softball to come out and support the players. This will also be a great night for all of our loyal fans who support Sun City Softball to come out and support those players that have served our country.  Added to all of this there will be free hot dogs and water from 4:30 - 6:00 PM.
